The Grand Canyon is a place of magnificent
beauty, a place unlike anywhere else in the world. One of the 7
natural wonders of the world, with its mile-high, multicolored rock
walls, craggy cliffs, and sandy slopes, it is the embodiment of
nature’s awesome power and surpassing beauty. Join us and
enjoy this spectacular natural feature that extends for hundreds
of miles across a portion of the southwestern Colorado Plateau.
All participants will receive
the following benefits:
- Experienced, local hike leaders
will help you prepare and train for the event over a 16-week period.
- Includes round-trip airfare (US
domestic), ground transportation and accommodations. Most meals
are included.
- Choose among walking or hiking
adventures with varying levels of difficulty.
- Hikes led in small groups (8
to 10 hikers) by expert Walking Connection Grand Canyon guides.
- Personal support and materials
to make your fundraising both easy and successful.
- Participation is limited to 40
hikers.
