we embark on a fantastic adventure to the Grand Canyon - Conquer
the Canyon®!

April 28 - May 1, 2011 (3-Nights/4-Days)
SHELTER, Inc. and
Conquer The Canyon® have
joined forces to alleviate homelessness in Contra Costa County.
Travel with us to The Grand Canyon for a three-night/four-day walking
and hiking adventure. Your participation will increase awareness
and raise funds to end homelessness for families in your local community.
All
Conquer The Canyon - Hike For SHELTER participants
will receive:
•Experienced, local hike leaders who will help you prepare
and train for the adventure over a 16-week period. This includes
local hikes, clinics and coaching.
•Includes round-trip airfare, ground transportation and accommodations.
Most meals are included.
•Choose among walking or hiking adventures with varying levels
of difficulty suitable for all interests and fitness levels.
•Hikes led in small groups (6 to 8 hikers) by Walking Connection
and Conquer The Canyon certified, Grand Canyon expert hiking guides.
•Personal support and materials to make your fundraising both
easy and successful.
Participation is limited to the first 50 hikers
who sign up.
