Welcome to The Grand Canyon

Each year millions of people travel to Arizona to see the crown jewel of the American landscape - The Grand Canyon, and though seeing is believing, your supporters, volunteers and members can do much more than look! They can experience it on a personal level, up close, one step at at time! At the same time, and through the proven programming of The Walking Connection, they can support your organization and mission while positively changing their own lives.

Conquer The Canyon® is the Walking and Hiking experience your fundraiser's will remember for the rest of their lives!

Conquer The Canyon® was created by The Walking Connection to benefit several very special non-profit organizations. It is a premier fundraising program that prepares people (participant fundraiser's) to raise money in support of your mission. From beginning walkers to seasoned hikers they will experience The Grand Canyon as few people ever do - with a trained professional Grand Canyon guide. Their adventure will challenge them physically, yet provide them with an interpretive experience few visitors ever receive. As a Conquer The Canyon Adventurer, we'll provide them with the information and preparation they will need for their Grand Canyon experience.*

Programming includes:

In return, participants will raise funds for your recognized non-profit organization that provides crucial services and support for your mission in your local community, region or throughout your country. Whether your organization is chapter, division or locally based, or has supporters, volunteers or members scattered throughout the country, we will provide key assistance as they support your mission! At the same time, they'll add special relevance to their own lives through their personal achievements as a hiker with Conquer The Canyon®.

We are currently supporting several organizations and are conducting fantastic hikes in the Spring and Fall of 2009. We are setting our schedule now. Conquer the Canyon can accommodate organizations with anywhere from 12 to 220 participants over an adventure packed 3-day schedule at Grand Canyon. (Other itineraries of varying duration are available).
